Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Former Butler Correctional Facility Redevelopment

The Wayne County Industrial Development Agency (the “WCIDA”), in partnership with Wayne County (the “County”), is seeking proposals from interested parties for the redevelopment of the former Butler Correctional Facility (the “Site”), currently owned by the New York State Urban Development Corporation, who has approved the WCIDA to pursue proposals and facilitate a transaction.

The WCIDA invites all interested parties to review Site details and submit a response to this solicitation. The Site includes extensive on-site infrastructure and is located within the Finger Lakes Region and the NY SMART I-Corridor Tech Hub.

The primary purpose of this RFP is to identify a Preferred Developer with whom the WCIDA will enter into a public-private partnership agreement for the redevelopment of the entire Site which consists of two major parcels.
