Jstor Arts & Sciences Archive Collection


Description:

The City University of New York (CUNY) intends to procure access and updates to the Jstor Arts & Sciences Archive Collections, Forum and Portico Preserved Collections for one (1) year with option to extend four (4) years on behalf of the City University of New York Office of Library Services (OLS) to be used by the CUNY campuses libraries in the five boroughs of New York City.

Product Requirements:

Must have access and updates to Jstor Arts & Sciences I through XII Collections.  These collections are comprised of quality journal archives in subjects spanning across the arts and sciences, and provide access to all CUNY students, faculty and staff.

  • JSTOR Archive Collections: a package of digital backfiles of more than 2890 journals in the humanities, social sciences, and sciences. These collections are the core journal titles supporting higher education around the world made available through the well-known JSTOR discovery platform.
  • JSTOR Forum: A cloud-based digital collection platform allowing CUNY libraries to build, describe, and make discoverable our local digital collections through the popular JSTOR discovery platform.

Portico Preserved Collections: A digital preservation service and platform seamlessly integrated into the JSTOR Forum interface and workflow allowing CUNY libraries to preserve our local digital collections and ensure the continued existence of CUNY archives and collections for future students and researchers.

 

Vendor Requirements:

To be considered for award prospective vendors must be authorized to sell\resell this access to public educational institutions. Prospective vendors that are authorized by Ithaka to sell/resell this access to such entities must meet he product requirements set forth in the Product Requirements above. Vendors are invited to submit no later than the date set forth in this advertisement: 1) Documentation verifying that you company meet the minimum product requirements; and 2) A letter authorizing your company to sell\resell this access to public educational institutions.
